iTouch Hack - Hacking the iPod touch, keeping it simple

Welcome to iTouch Hack.

I have set up this site as a single location for hacking the iTouch the easy way. Here you will find instructions to walk you through downgrading, jailbreaking and upgrading your iTouch while keeping it jailbroken and giving you the features that only hacking can.

Before you jump right into the jailbreak, you need to decide if this is for you. The hacks dont require you to be an IT genius but you should have a fair knowledge of IT. I do assume this in all the instructions, but do keep them as simple as they can get.

Please note: I did not come-up with these hacks, these were done by others (mostly DevTeam). I have however followed these processes to hack my own iTouch. I have created this site as a single place to show how to do this, I do not encourage you to do this, and do not condone hacking. This site is purely for information purposes since most sites focus on the iPhone. I will note what I have seen regarding the iPhone but am going to focus on the iTouch.
